Blessed Brother Andre,
your devotion to Saint Joseph is an inspiration
to us.
You gave your life selflessly
to bring the message of his life to others.
Pray that we may learn from Saint Joseph,
and from you,
what it is like to care for Jesus and do his
work in the world. Amen |

For
the canonization of Brother Andre:
Lord, you have chosen Blessed Brother Andre to
spread devotion to St. Joseph and to minister to all those who are afflicted.
Through his intercession, grant us the favor that we are now requesting.
. .
We also pray that the Church may canonize him
as soon as possible. Grant us the grace to imitate his piety and his charity
so that, with him, we may share the reward promised to all those who care
for their neighbor because of their love for you.
Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
In a homily honoring Brother Andre, Pope John
Paul II said:
"A daily crowd-of the sick, the afflicted,
the poor of all kinds--those who were handicapped or wounded by life--came
to him. They found in his presence a welcome
ear, comfort and faith in God. Do not the poor of today have as much
need of such love, of such hope, of such education
in prayer?" May 23, 1982

a San José es una inspiración para nosotros. Diste tu vida
libremente para traer el mensaje de su vida a los demás. Ruega para
que aprendamos de San José y de ti lo que significa creer en Jesús
y hacer su trabajo en el mundo. Amén
Por la canonización del Hermano Andrés:
Señor, Tú escogiste al bendito Hermano Andrés para
esparcir la devoción a San José y para ayudar a todos los
afligidos. Por su intercesión, concédenos ahora el favor
que Te pedimos... También rogamos que la Iglesia le canonice tan
pronto como sea posible. Concédenos la gracia de imitar su piedad
y caridad para que, con él, compartamos la recompensa prometida
a todos aquellos que ayudan al prójimo por amor a Ti. Por Cristo,
Nuestro Señor. Amén.

En una homilía en honor del Hermano Andrés,
el Papa Juan Pablo II dijo: "Una multitud diaria de enfermos, afligidos,
pobres de todos tipos -aquellos discapacitados o heridos por la vida- llegaban
hasta él. En su presencia encontraban a alguien que les escuchaba
y acogía, descanso y fe en Dios. ¿No tienen los pobres de
hoy la misma necesidad de amor, esperanza y educación en la oración?"
