This
morning I wrote to you while feeling very distressed worrying about my
pet rabbit, Flopsy. We went to the Archdiocese of the Internet and wrote
in your guest book after saying your special prayer for sick pets and I
asked you to pray for Flopsy too. I had got up this morning to find him
very weak and unable to stand properly and not feeding and unable to get
comfortable. We have had a few rabbits before Flopsy and knew by them that
he needed help. I thought he was going to die so I made a vets appointment,
and took him this evening just to get the vet to check him over, but straight
after saying your prayer and asking you to pray for him too, he seemed
to recover and he let me hold his drink bottle for him and feed some to
him and even ate some of his food. This evening the vet said he seemed
fine but gave him two antibiotic injections just in case he had been sick
on something. I attribute his recovery to the power of prayer and am so
grateful to you for this site. Flopsy is sitting up in his hutch in our
living room right now having a wash. Thank you so very much for your prayers
from myself and Flopsy and all my family. St. Francis is very special indeed.
What a wonderful day this is!
I enclose a photo of Flopsy and he sends you
his love! My daughter used to be a girl guide and she once earned a guide
badge for caring for animals and the badge had a picture of St. Francis.
She looked after our first rabbit, Skippy to earn the badge. I have decided
to give Flopsy a middle name and will now call him Flopsy
Francis. |
