THE
STUDY OF MILK IN THE NEW TESTAMENT 5 of 5
1
Cor 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual,
but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
1
Cor 3:2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for
hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
1
Cor 3:3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among
you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as
men?
1
Cor 9:6 Or I only and Barnabas, have not we power to forbear working?
1
Cor 9:7 Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth
a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth
a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock?
1
Cor 9:8 Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same
also?
1
Cor 9:9 For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle
the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God
take care for oxen?
1
Cor 9:10 Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes,
no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope;
and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.
1
Cor 9:11 If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a
great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?
Heb
5:11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered,
seeing ye are dull of hearing.
Heb
5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need
that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of
God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong
meat.
Heb
5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the
word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
Heb
5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even
those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both
good and evil.
1
Pet 2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies,
and envies, and all evil speakings,
1
Pet 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the
word, that ye may grow thereby:
1
Pet 2:3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
