THE SECOND SUNDAY: The first Sunday after Easter is historically called Quasimodogeniti Sunday. That sounds a little like the character in the Hunchback of Notre Dame, but it means "like newborn babies." New-born baby Sunday.

THE THIRD SUNDAY: "Sticks and stones can break my bones, but names can never hurt me." That was a popular retort when someone called you a name. Sticks and stones have substance. Names are nothing, empty signs, hollow words.
THE FOURTH SUNDAY: This is the fourth Sunday of the seven Sundays of Easter - a week of weeks to reflect on the resurrection of Christ from the dead and what it means for us and for our church.
