large avocados -- 2 cups crab meat-- 1 cup mushroom, drained--
1
large onion, chopped--1 tablespoon butter--1/2 cup miracle whip--
1 tablespoon lemon juice -- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce --
Dash
of Tabasco-- Salt and Pepper to taste--
Cut avocados in half length wise. Scoop out pulp with
spoon and mash well with fork. Save shells. Brown onions and mushrooms
in butter. Mix with crab meat and avocado. Add miracle whip, lemon juice,
Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco and blend well. Season with salt and pepper
to taste. Fill shells with mixture and chill. If desired, garnish with
strips of pimento placed lengthwise on top. Serve on lettuce leaf.
