place pot on stove..pour oil covering bottom only.....heat... cut 2 large onions...2 cloves garlic {minced}.... 2 small cans tomatoes sauce... 2 small cans whole tomatoes {well crushed}..... 1 tsp.sugar..... 3 pounds shrimp...... 1 bell pepper..cut..... mix in onions and garlic....do not add sugar yet...{wait} we
love that word in the south... lol cook until soft in oil on low heat..... when soft add tomatoes and sugar and cook slowly......until fat
comes to the over top.....you will see it..... if not sure ....just cook minutes....add shrimp and stir in the
mixture for a few minutes..... add 3 cups hot water....bring to boil....lower flame to simmer and
let cook 30 minutes.....until thick sauce.... as with all food .......season to taste....always use lite salt
.....and have separate bottles of salt and pepper..... never use seasonings that are mixed in one bottle.......serve with
rice ......happy eating......
